Week 1 Workout, Core

This week we’ll focus on core engagement. Our core is a group of muscles that allow us to bend forward and back, side to side and twist, they also help keep us upright with good posture and hold a plank. You will need a block and a small ball briefly for one exercise for this workout.

Warm up

  • chest isolation, pulses and circles
  • cat cows, T/S spinal twists


  • mountain climbers
  • superheroes
  • side plank with hip dips
  • down dog toe taps
  • down dog jacks
  • lateral crunches
  • TA toe taps
  • Russian twists
  • outside mountain climbers

Cool Down

  • child’s pose with lateral stretch
  • up dog
