Several years ago I was a wreck. I felt lost and s Several years ago I was a wreck. I felt lost and sad, I was so used to being an active person and then suddenly found myself exhausted and in physical pain. I didn’t know how to move my body or what made me happy. I was trying to be something I’m not. Fast forward to present day and I’ve found a movement practice that healed my body and spirit. I’m more grounded, hella strong and getting closer to doing the splits 🤸🏽‍♀️ I’ve regained my confidence in being my intellectual eccentric self and am actively building my community. My birthday is coming up and for the first time in a looooong time I actually feel like celebrating! And if climate chaos doesn’t do us all in, I’m excited for the next 32 years. I’m often surprised by the number of women that I’m often surprised by the number of women that don’t know that their abs have separated after pregnancy. I specially became a trainer because of the lack of awareness and information about female bodies. So much of the fitness world is based off of male athletes. And yes a lot transfers over to everyone else but there are some differences, especially when it comes to postpartum bodies. I design my classes to help people regain strength and stamina to live their best life. It’s so hard for me to say goodbye to summer but I’ve also been taking advantage of having easy access to the spirit world. I want to say thank you to the women who have helped me release, get grounded and find some major flow with a pancreas massage @tarawinklercmt , womb meditation @plcogley and mentoring. For the first time in a while I felt energized and focused and that everything was going to be ok. Single parenting/entrepreneuring/just living in the bay can be a struggle. I’ve been taking time to review this past year and find ways to improve in my personal and professional life. I’ve spent much of my life running from and suppressing my feelings. Hearing feedback has been really hard. Recently I noticed how a past trauma was disrupting my life so I took some time to open up and let go of some things I was holding onto. I immediately noticed positive changes happen and was able to get out of my own way.
